After a gruelling day of driving through the Northern Rockies with strong winds, construction stops, high hills and deep valleys, we stopped at Liard Hotsprings Provincial Park - close to the northern BC border. After a quick supper, we walked the 10 minute board walk to the hot springs for a leisurely wonderful soak. It is open 24 hours, 365 days a year. Unsupervised, the hot springs just keep pumping out water too hot to sit in at the source. Thirty feet from the opening, the water is hot tub temperature and we luxuriated along with a half-dozen other people.

ReplyDeleteI forgot our suits so we stopped in Fields in Fort Nelson and bought some on sale!! Bill's is brilliant green and too big, mine is neon blue and green and too small.... No pictures will be forthcoming....
