Back in Whitehorse

Long day driving and a bumpy road at times - Bill slowed down for every little pink flag but sometimes the lurking dips and bumps jumped out and shocked us. It was interesting(!) to open the cupboards when we got here. Shelves were down, cans ready to fall out, dishes upside down. The reverberations must set up mini aftershocks in here.
Nevertheless the trip was gorgeous. We've made the right decision going straight north as fast as we could. We caught fall in Tombstone and now are watching fall arrive as we travel south.
As for the Northern lights? The sky is covered with grim-looking clouds - we'll peek out in the night but don't expect anything.
