Animal update

A Northern Hawk Owl swooped in above our heads on an evening walk. Google him - he is fabulous. Our binoculars helped us with a close-up of his strange face. 
We walked the Beaver Trail at dusk and our patience was rewarded. He came out of no where and swam across his lovely pond and circled in front of us. 

This lovely pond along side the Klondike River is all down to the beaver. 
I loved this little muskrat - eating like crazy and ignoring us completely.
